So apparently the make up in The Iron Lady was better than the make up in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2…
I don’t know if I can. Watching it is already an emotional thing, but so soon after losing Buck…wouldn’t be able to handle it.
Blood on the Risers: For Buck and every member of Easy Company who is no longer with us.
And he ain’t gonna jump no more…
sweetfayetanner replied to your post: What a crappy Sunday this has turned out to be.
ugh Erica I have been thinking about this ever since I heard the news. I am so worried for Malark and Bill and Babe. I know they’re probably hurting right now.
I think….and I hate to say this, especially since I don’t know how any of them are doing right now - they are probably accustomed to losing their men. Not that they are doing well, mind you. But they are getting up in years and it must not have been wholly unexpected. I think losing Winters was a difficult blow as well.
I feel awful. :(
I know Buck is now with all the other members of Easy, as well as his wife Donna. But I think of the members of Easy still on earth - Malark in particular, who really loved Buck - and I just hope they are okay and safe in the knowledge that Buck is in a better place.
“Second platoon was indeed ‘blessed’ to have Buck Compton as our leader. He was a quiet and strong officer who, above all, listened and talked to the men under his command. I could never say enough to express my thanks and admiration for Buck Compton.” - William ‘Wild Bill’ Guarnere
Rest in peace Lt. Lynn ‘Buck’ Compton, you were a true hero. You will be greatly missed.
God bless you. Say hi to Skip and Winters and everyone for me.
